Low carbon methanol provides a scalable clean liquid fuel solution to fill gaps left by electric cars and biofuels. In addition to being the number three commodity chemical globally, the use of C1 liquid methanol for transportation fuel is compelling. Specifically, the replacement of C12 diesel transport fuels in the U.S. and global economy with C1 liquid methanol can dramatically reduce sulfur, NOX and CO2 emissions and fill a large gap that will never be addressed by electric cars or biofuels.
